I was made for greater things and for a better someone.

The Prayer of a Broken Heart

We ruin friendships by falling in love....

I thought you were the exception to the rule but looks like you were everything but it...

My heart....well, it's mine now...broken and shattered as it may be...at least it's mine now. 

I cannot explain the emotion. 

It hurts when I surpress it and hurts even more when I let it all go. 

I am stuck between two extremes; for love of you and of hate of myself.

Dear God, 

Please take these brokeness and renew in me a heart of love. I know it took me so long to realize that you are the only one who would and could love me so deeply without condition, and all I can ask is that you hold me in your arms and brush away the pain and sadness that fill my heart. Forgive me of my faults and failings. Forgive me for I have betrayed you. No one should have mattered more than You. I ask of you the grace and strength to face these coming days with a cheerful disposition. 

Heal me, Lord for I am broken.

Amen.
